RIoT Fusion is a hardware abstraction module specifically designed to simplify how developers using microcontrollers connect their IoT devices to the Internet. It allows developers to focus on connecting sensors and actuators—the fun part of building IoT devices—while RIoT Fusion handles secure communication and firmware management.
Now packaged as a simple, easy-to-use Arduino Shield for traditional AVR-based Arduino microcontrollers, it utilizes the Arduino MKR family of devices to provide secure communication and over-the-air (OTA) firmware management.
Target Audience
The RIoT Fusion Arduino Shield is specifically designed for hobbyists and educational programs that wish to simplify their IoT device development. With RIoT Fusion, you don’t have to worry about the complexities of secure communication. More importantly, it provides the ability to deploy firmware to your devices over-the-air once deployed.
